Meet Poppy

Poppy is one of our delightful "Flower Power" pigs, who found their way to Ahimsa Safe Haven after being rescued from a challenging situation. Alongside her sisters—Zinnia, Daffodil, and Rosie—Poppy now enjoys a life filled with care and affection.

From the moment she arrived, Poppy's playful and affectionate nature has been evident. She loves seeking attention, often nudging our caretakers for belly rubs and treats. Her joyful spirit is contagious, bringing smiles to everyone she meets.

Poppy shares a special bond with her sister Zinnia; the two are often found napping together in the shade or exploring their new surroundings side by side. Their companionship is heartwarming, showcasing the deep connections animals form with one another.

Now, Poppy spends her days rooting around the pasture, basking in the sun, and enjoying the simple pleasures of sanctuary life. Her journey from neglect to a loving home embodies the mission of Ahimsa Safe Haven: to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all beings.
