Meet Teddy
Teddy was rescued from a severe neglect situation in Saginaw County, Michigan, in 2020. Dubbed the "Saginaw Six," Teddy and his siblings were found in dire conditions, leading to their rescue and relocation to sanctuaries, including Ahimsa Safe Haven.
Upon arrival, Teddy was underweight and wary of human interaction. With dedicated care and patience, he began to trust and embrace his new environment. Teddy now enjoys exploring the pasture, wallowing in mud baths, and relishing his favorite treats—pumpkins and cucumbers.
Despite his past hardships, Teddy has blossomed into a loving and social pig, often seen interacting playfully with his siblings, Capone, Harriet, and Molly. His transformation is a testament to the resilience of animals and the profound impact of compassionate care.
